Kidney: Australia should look to fund NBN with green bond

Green bonds are proving a popular option with investors, with demand exceeding supply in a recent regional French environmental bond. Sean Kidney, executive chair of the Climate Bonds Initiative says that the investor interest in green bonds should spur the Australian government to consider selling green bonds to fund the development of the national broadband network.
