Politics is the process of governing an entity for the purpose of allocating resources. Superannuation funds are not partisan political participants in the way that elected politicians are, but funds' investment activities are impacted by politics, policy and sovereign risk concerns, and they, in turn, impact on the political system in providing for the long term income and capital needs for Australian residents and citizens.
