CGI Glass Lewis (CGI) have appointed announces the appointment of Stanley Soosur as country head, Australia and Philip Foo as vice president, APAC research and engagement.
As country head, Australia, Soosur will lead CGI's business activities, manage customer relationships in Australia, and oversee sales activities throughout the APAC region. Soosur has been with CGI Glass Lewis for over 13 years in a variety of service, relationship management, and sales roles at CGI, which is a provider of independent global governance solutions.
Soosur will report to Dan Concannon, Glass Lewis' chief commercial officer.
"Stanley and Philip's extensive industry knowledge, customer focus, and local research team capabilities reinforce our commitment to providing valuable governance solutions to our customers," said John Wieck, Glass Lewis chief operating officer.
Daniel Smith, CGI's former general manager, left the company on 1 February, CGI said.
"We are excited for them to build upon Dan's significant contributions from his long tenure at CGI Glass Lewis," Wieck said. "We thank Dan for the past seven years and wish him continued success in the future."

Meanwhile, in his role as vice president, APAC research and engagement, Foo will oversee the Sydney, Tokyo, and San Francisco research teams that cover the APAC region. Foo will also continue to hold market responsibility for CGI Glass Lewis' Australian and New Zealand research, a continuation of a role he has had for the past two years as CGI Glass Lewis' director of research.
Prior to joining CGI Glass Lewis, Foo was a forensic accountant in the disputes and international arbitration practice at Berkeley Research Group, and was also previously with the forensic accounting and audit practices of KPMG. Foo will report to Eric Shostal, Glass Lewis' senior vice president of research and engagement.
"Glass Lewis has recently invested heavily to expand our research capacity across the region to meet increased investor demand for governance research," Foo said. " "I look forward to guiding these teams as they look to identify material governance risks in our customers' equity portfolio holdings."
