Green moves: Eaton Capital Partners, UBSBY ELIZABETH FRY | MONDAY, 2 JUN 2025 5:17PMThe head of UBS Global Wealth Management's NFP segment has taken on a new role, while Eaton Capital Partners has a new impact investment analyst. Zarmeen Pavri, a specialist in social impact strategies and investment, has joined the Centre for Social Impact at UNSW Business School as an adjunct fellow. With a career spanning 30 years in the investment industry, including a decade focused on impact and sustainable investing, Pavri currently leads the not-for-profit client business segment at UBS Global Wealth Management. Throughout her career, she has held senior executive positions at Pengana, the Global Impact Investing Network (GIIN), and JPMorgan. Additionally, she co-founded a climate-tech venture capital fund called SDGx. Pavri is committed to reshaping how capital is utilised to benefit both people and the planet. She has also served as a director for U Ethical Investors and Apostle Funds Management and was a former member of JANA Sustainability. The university noted: "Zarmeen's appointment brings leading global insights to CSI UNSW's work in sustainable finance, systems change, and social impact leadership." Meanwhile, economist Thenura Sonnadara has joined Eaton Capital Partners as an impact investment analyst. In this role, Sonnadara will work with a venture capitalist firm that secures financing for sectors such as healthcare, water, and renewable energy. He previously spent three years at Deloitte, where he developed his financial modeling skills and adopted a risk-focused perspective to financial data. Before that, Sonnadara worked as a consultant at Perpetual and held an advisory position at William Buck. Finally, Unlimited has appointed Sean Finn as the chair of the Fish NSW Fish Habitat panel for 2025. The not-for-profit organisation is committed to supporting hands-on habitat restoration, and the panel focuses on driving river restoration and promoting best practices in recreational fishing. Finn also serves as the president of The Hastings River Chapter, which works to ensure the river produces more fish and allows species to thrive and grow larger. In his professional role, Finn is a regional coordination manager at the Premier's Department in New South Wales. Before his three years with the Premier's Office, he worked as a business development manager at the Department of Regional NSW. Finn, who has a background as a financial planner, also spent three years at Rainmaker Group in business development. Speaking of his new role, Finn stated: "I have an incredibly deep admiration for the people at OzFish. They share my passion for our fish and possess a depth of knowledge to which I can only aspire."
