Interesting report. Would love to see how the framework is structured in the nearest future. However one thing I found missing from this report is that: it states that Australia is a net food exporter; could that also imply that there is pressure on acquiring agricultural land by investors which equally places a challenge on the canals? I am of the opinion that an effective food policy framework should take into account large-scale land acquistion and by whom is it being done.
